Even after his death, Michael Jackson's fans will wait in line for tickets.

Such is the scene outside the Nokia theater, where hundreds are already waiting to buy tickets for the documentary made from rehearsal footage for Jackson's ill-fated "This is It" tour.

The movie doesn’t open until October 28 – and tickets don’t go on sale until Sunday.

The movie is scheduled to show for just two weeks, so Jackson fans who don’t want to miss out started lining up at LA Live yesterday.

“You have to be willing to make a lot of sacrifices, take off work, put all your expectations on hold,” Marc De Marco of Van Nuys said as he waited in line.

“It is very important to me. I am a big fan of Michael Jackson. I think three days is a long time, though,” fan Lois Mitchell said after driving down from Palmdale.

The first 500 ticket-buyer will also get an added bonus, a commemorative concert ticket issued for the London tour that, sadly, never was. Jackson’s “This Is It” tour was scheduled for 50 performances at London’s OC Arena. It had already sold out before his death on June 25.
