Fatal Officer-Involved Shooting in Inglewood

Police confirmed that one suspect was killed and that a police officer was shot in his hand.

Police were conducting an officer-involved shooting investigation in Inglewood early Friday.

The intersection of 113th Street and Doty was blocked off as Inglewood Police, with the help of Hawthorne and Gardena Police, assisted with the case.

One suspect was killed, and a police officer was shot in his hand, police confirmed.

Residents in the area had said they heard four to five gunshots and saw a person down.
