Firefighters battled a house fire in San Pedro Friday evening that affected two homes.
The fire was reported in the 700 block of West Oliver Street at 5:16 p.m., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
With wind gusts, embers were an issue near dry vegetation and more than 100 firefighters were assigned to the blaze.
Damage was limited to the two homes, both of which had extensive damage, according to the fire department.
