Fire burns at a new hospital in Palmdale.

Fire crews responded to a blaze Wednesday at a hospital under construction in Palmdale.
The fire was on the fifth floor of the new hospital at 38600 N. Medical Center in Palmdale, said county fire Inspector Sam Padilla. Padilla said the blaze engulfed roofing materials on the roof.
The fire was reported at 2:43 p.m. No injuries were reported.
