Fire Damages School's Wood Shop Building

A fire early Friday at James Monroe High School in North Hills.

A fire damaged a building housing a wood shop on the campus of a North Hills high school early Friday.

No injuries were reported in the fire, which burned for about 45 minutes.

The fire was reported at 2:41 a.m. at James Monroe High School at  9229 Haskell Avenue. Nearly 100 firefighters responded to the fire.

The cause was under investigation.
