Firefighters Contain 2-Acre Pallet Fire in Fontana

No evacuations or injuries were reported, officials said.

Firefighters were able to contain a 2-alarm blaze that erupted early Wednesday morning at a pallet yard in Fontana, fire officials said.

The fire was reported around 1:30 a.m. near Juniper and Boyle Avenues, according to the San Bernardino County Fire Department.

More than 55 firefighters were working to put out the blaze, according to the San Bernardino County Fire Department.

The fire, which engulfed about two acres, was visible from the 10 Freeway.

Firefighters were able to prevent the flames from spreading to nearby buildings, according to the San Bernardino County Fire Department.

No evacuations or injuries were reported.
