Firefighters Knock Down Fire at Citibank Building in West Los Angeles

Firefighters knocked down a fire that erupted on the sixth floor of a high-rise building in West Los Angeles Friday night.

The fire was reported at 8:38 p.m. at a Citibank building in the 1100 block of South Beverly Drive,  according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Aerial video from the scene showed flames visible through the building's windows.

More than 100 firefighters extinguished the fire in about 30 minutes.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

An earlier version of this story reported the fire erupted on La Cienega Boulevard. A correction has been made.
