A 28-year-old Fontana man has been arrested on child pornography charges, officials said on Thursday.
A William Thomas Brooks, a registered sex offender, was arrested in Corona after an extensive investigation following a cyber tip, according to the Fontana Police Department.
Brooks is suspected of uploading videos and pictures of children in various sexually explicit poses and engaged in sexual acts while he lived at a Fontana home in the 6700 block of Winter Night Ct, police said.
Over 400 images and videos depicting sexual exploitation of minors were seized from Brooks' residence. Police said he had also been trading and distributing the videos and images.
Brooks was arrested and booked at West Valley Detention Center. He faces charges for the possession and distribution of child pornography.
