Four armed robbers woke up residents in a Monrovia home early Tuesday morning and stole items after they broke in, police said.
The home invasion robbery was reported just before 2 a.m. in the 1000 block of E. Lemon Avenue, according to the Monrovia Police Department.
Police said at leasy two people were inside the home when the robbery occurred.
Detectives were investigating whether the robbery was related to a recent home invasion in Arcadia, which happened in a similar manner.
It was unclear if anyone was injured and what was taken during the robbery.
