Metrolink commuters were delayed early Tuesday after a freight train clipped a big rig's trailer at a crossing in Montebello.
The train crashed into the back of the trailer at about 6 a.m., pushing the trailer against a corner of a business and knocking down a light pole next to the tracks.
The crash prevented Metrolink trains from stopping at the Montebello station. The Metrolink Riverside Line was delayed early Tuesday, but began moving again once crews cleared the trailer.
MTA buses transported train passengers between Montebello and points in Los Angeles.
No injuries were reported.
The trailer contained frozen food.
