Giant Christmas Tree at the Grove to Be Lit

Eath, Wind and Fire, Aloe Blacc, and other A-list musicians will perform live

'Tis the season – Santa is scheduled to make a special guest appearance Sunday night at the lighting of The Grove’s massive Christmas tree.

The sky will be glowing when the more than 100-foot Christmas tree is lit up at the 12th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Spectacular and Live Show.

The tree, which arrived from Mt. Shasta Monday, Oct. 27,  is decorated with more than 15,000 lights and 10,000 adornments.

Emmy award-winning producer Brad Lachman, known for producing the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, is responsible for ringing in the holiday cheer at the show.

The Grove will also get its first "snow of the year" as musicians including Eath, Wind and Fire, Aloe Blacc and Darlene Love perform in a show that's slated to end with fireworks.
