Girl Dies After School Fight
Authorities were investigating the cause of death of an 11-year-old girl who died Friday night

Homicide detectives were investigating an 11-year-old girl who died after a fight off campus in Long Beach.
Police got a call just before 6 p.m. Friday from a local hospital that a girl who was unconscious and not breathing had been brought into the emergency room by her family.
She was treated, taken into surgery, and then placed in intensive care unit in critical condition.
She died just before 9 p.m.
The official cause of death will be determined by the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office.
