Google has a gift for travelers at Bob Hope Airport.

The company began offering free wireless Internet access Wednesday as part of a holiday promotion at the Burbank airport. More than 40 U.S. airports are involved in the promotion.

The free Wi-Fi will be offered only through Jan. 15 at all of the  airports except for Burbank and Seattle, where the no-cost airport-wide  Internet access will continue on indefinitely, according to Google.

The free Wi-Fi program will also be offered during the holidays at  airports in Las Vegas, San Jose, San Diego, Boston, Baltimore, Burbank,  Houston, Indianapolis, Seattle, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando, St. Louis and  Charlotte, among others, according to Google.
