A blind dog and his seeing-eye dog have finally found a new home.

Hampton, a 2-year-old Lhasa Apso/poodle mix, is blind and has trouble getting around. That was, until he met Brownie the Chihuahua.

"All of sudden, Brownie's face just changed, and it was like, 'Oh, something's wrong here and I need to help him,'" said Laurie Bernie of L.I.F.E. Animal Rescue. "And then they went all the way up my street, and he just herded him all the way up."

NBCLA featured the inseparable besties earlier this month after their owner, who was diagnosed with breast cancer, had to give them up for adoption because she was moving out of state to be closer to her family.

The adoption interviews are now over and, NBCLA user Patricia Pepe has adopted the dogs.

Editor's Note: NBCLA's Robert Kovacik (@RobertKovacik) is going to visit Pepe with her new companions later this week. Check back Friday for video.
