One person was killed and another injured Monday in an overnight shooting in Lennox.
The shooting was reported just after 3 a.m. near the intersection of 111th Street and Hawthorne Boulevard, Los Angeles County Fire Department Supervisor Miguel Ornelas said. Lennox is about 15 miles southwest of downtown Los Angeles.
The victims were identified only as a man and woman. The man died at the scene. The woman was hospitalized, but detail regarding her condition were not immediately available.
Authorities closed 111th Street at Hawthorne Boulevard for the investigation.
