Since the Murrieta Field of Honor will be celebrating its 11th anniversary this year, it will be transforming Murrieta's Town Square Park into a sea of unfurled American flags. The flags are to recognize local heroes who have given their lives since the year 2003. Other programs are also planned during the week of the celebration.

People interested in nominating a hero can send a picture of the person they want to nominate with a short biography, a few short sentences on why the person should be selected, plus contact information such as address, email and telephone numbers of both the hero and of the person nominating them. All the information is to be sent to MurrietaRotary@Gmail.com.
