In addition to Fleiss, Brooklier successfully represented Conaway of the hit TV show, "Taxi," in a drunk driving case and recently was able to exonerate Giovanni Ramirez, a parolee who was accused in the brutal beating of Santa Clara firefighter Bryan Stow in the Dodger's Stadium parking lot.

Brooklier, one of the most colorful lawyers in the LA bar, spent time behind bars after failing to file income taxes in 1993 and 1994. He known as fair lawyer and gentleman by those who he went up against.
