Police spun out a Nissan Armada in a construction zone on the Golden State (5) Freeway, ending a pursuit near San Clemente.
The driver stuck his hands out of the vehicle and surrendered about 10:30 p.m.
The chase started in Escondido at 8:58 p.m. Escondido police noticed a stolen vehicle on the soughtbound 15 Freeway. The chase took place at high speeds north to Anaheim, near Disneyland and back south.
