Hollywood Burglary Suspect Allegedly Enters Homes Through Windows

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the man is considered armed and dangerous.

Police have released a sketch of a burglary suspect believed to be linked to multiple thefts in the Hollywood area this year.

The man allegedly enters homes through open windows. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the man is considered armed and dangerous.

In January, he allegedly entered a residence on the 1000 block of North Oxford Avenue. As he was ransacking the residence, the resident returned home and found the alleged burglar in the one of rooms.
He allegedly ransacked a home on the 5200 block of Romaine Avenue in February.

In March, a resident returned home as the alleged burglar was ransacking the residence on the 1400 block of North Serrano Avenue.

"The resident of the home actually came home while the burglary suspect was inside," LAPD Officer Sara Faden said. "A struggle took place between the resident and the suspect and that’s when the suspect actually took out a knife and threatened the individual."

Because the alleged burglar targets homes with open windows, residents should be extra cautious during the current heat wave. LAPD officials encourage those who open their windows to add bars on the windows or keep the lights on inside the home to deter a possible burglar.

The burglary suspect was described as a Hispanic male around 25-30 years of age, with black hair, brown eyes, around 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds.
