The man accused in at least three non-fatal stabbings of homeless people while they were sleeping in LA and Santa Monica pleaded not guilty Wednesday to charges of attempted murder.

Courtney Anthony Robinson, 37, is being held on $3 million bail and his next hearing is scheduled for Aug. 6.

Law enforcement in LA and Santa Monica say Robinson allegedly left signed “death warrants” near the bodies of the victims.

Robinson – who police describe as a drifter from Florida – turned himself in after police appealed to the public for help in locating him.

The attacks occurred in downtown Los Angeles, Hollywood and Santa Monica between June 26 and July 19, police said.

Santa Barbara police are investigating whether he is linked to two recent knife attacks of homeless men in that city.
