How Facebook Changes Impact the News You Receive From NBCLA

Some viewers have asked how they can be sure to receive local news from NBCLA

Facebook announced this week it will tweak its news feed algorithm to emphasize posts from friends and family. That change could cause Facebook users to see fewer posts from media companies like NBCLA.

Some viewers have asked how they can be sure to continue to receive local news they count on. Here are step-by-step instructions on how to guarantee you see receive every update from NBCLA in your news feed.

Go to NBCLA’s Facebook page and be sure you’ve liked the page.

On your mobile device, click "Following" and you will see three options.

If you'd like to see every post from NBCLA, click "See First." If you'd prefer to see what the Facebook algorithm serves you, click "Default," and Facebook will show you posts based on how often you engage with NBCLA's content.
