A large Pacific storm swooped into Southern California Tuesday night.

As a result,  Santa Barbara County and City emergency officials issued an evacuation order for residents within the Tea Fire Burn Area, including the Sycamore Creek area and other areas immediately below the fire zone.   Residents were not required to leave their homes, but once they do, they may not be able to return home.

People affected by the Tea evacuation order can speak to authorities manning a hotline at 805-681-5197.

Another way to get information about the evacuation order is to click on the county website at: http://www.countyofsb.org.
