Power was restored to hundreds of Southern California Edison customers following an outage in Marina del Rey Monday morning, but nearly 400 customers remained in the dark

The outage affecting 1,017 customers was reported at 2:13 a.m. in an area flanked on the north by Washington Boulevard, on the south by Fiji Way, on the west by Via Dolce and on the east by Admiralty Way, said SCE spokeswoman Lois Pitter Bruce.

By 4 a.m., power was restored to all but 390 customers, she said.

The cause of the outage was not immediately determined. It was unclear when the remaining customers would have their power restored.
