A woman was killed on the 5 Freeway after a collision involving a big rig truck Monday night, authorities said.
The crash was reported around 11:30 p.m. on the southbound 5 Freeway just north of the 55 Freeway transition, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A woman driving a small vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the CHP.
Officers closed three lanes on the 5 Freeway until further notice.
