After months of seraching, investigators said they have found the body of a pregnant teen in Fontana.
The remains of 17-year-old Anyssia Escamilla were found in a landfill, according to investigators. The coroner's office confirmed the identity Thursday.
Police said Escamilla was killed in May. Her boyfriend, 18-year-old Jesus Avitia Jr., of Fontana, told police he killed Escamilla and placed her body in a trash can near his home.
He pleaded not guilty to two counts of murder and is being held on $2 million bail.
