Irvine Couple Killed in Revenge Plot Remembered on Wedding Date

Ex-LAPD officer Christopher Dorner's first victims are remembered on the day they were supposed to be married

April 19 was the day that Monica Quan and Keith Lawrence had planned to get married.

Last February, the newly engaged couple was killed by ex-Los Angeles police officer Christopher Dorner.

On Saturday, family and friends all across the country lit candles in honor of Quan, 28, and Lawrence, 27.

Quan’s family held a memorial at the Industry Hills Golf Club at Pacific Palms Resort, where the couple was scheduled to be married at 4 p.m. before 400 guests.

Instead, they were shot in an Irvine condo parking structure on Feb. 3. Irvine police identified the killer as Dorner.
