Kings, Fans Ready for Stanley Cup Celebration

The LA Kings Stanley Cup Championship Celebration is scheduled to begin Thursday at noon with a parade before fans and the team gather at Staples Center for a rally.

The parade will include players, coaches and the hardware won by the Kings, including the city's first Stanley Cup.

About the Parade

The parade will begin at noon. It will start at West 5th Street and travel down Figueroa Street to Chick Hearn Court. The parade is expected to last about 45 minutes.

Fans can line the one-mile stretch of Figueroa as the teams -- and the Stanley Cup, Conn Smythe Trophy and Clarence Campbell Bowl -- pass along the route. The players will ride on six double-decker buses and other vehicles.

Here's a look at who will be on each vehicle in the parade.

Tickets are required for admission to the rally that is scheduled to follow the parade. Special viewing areas for fans with tickets have been set up near Staples Center.

The event is sold out.

The 60-minute Championship Rally is schedule to begin at 2:30 p.m. The event will feature video highlights from the Kings' season, team introductions and player speeches.
