Pursuit Suspect Crashes With Bus Off 170 Freeway Near Burbank Boulevard
The chase eached speeds more than 100 mph at times
July 11, 2012: A police pursuit suspect crashed into a bus following a chase that reached speeds of more than 100 mph, officials said.
A police pursuit ended when the wanted driver crashed into an LADOT bus in North Hollywood Wednesday afternoon.
The chase – which reached speeds more than 100 mph at times – started at about 5 p.m. when California Highway Patrol officers tried to stop the driver for speeding, officials said.
The driver crashed with an LADOT bus while exiting the southbound 170 Freeway at Burbank Boulevard, officials said.
The suspect and the bus driver suffered leg injuries, police said.
