LAFC To Get TAP Cards Saturday Night

Early arriving fans for Saturday night's Los Angeles Football Club-New England Revolution Major League Soccer game at Banc of California Stadium will receive an LAFC Metro TAP card loaded with a day pass.

The limited edition LAFC TAP cards will be available at Metro Stations beginning Tuesday.

The TAP card is the first featuring a Los Angeles professional team.

The game is Dodgers Night. Fans who purchase special Dodgers Night tickets will receive a limited-edition LAFC/Dodgers T-shirt at the match and the opportunity to meet Dodgers legends.

Dodger broadcaster Jaime Jarrin and former Dodgers Manny Mota and Nomar Garciaparra will pose for pictures with fans. Garciaparra is among LAFC's owners.

Jarrin, Mota and Garciaparra will be the honorary falconers, releasing the team's falcons before the start of the game for a pregame flight at the center of the field, hunting a lure of the opponent's crest.

A limited number of tickets remained available as of Friday afternoon and the game was expected to sell out, a team official said. LAFC has sold out all 13 of its MLS games at the 22,000-seat Banc of California Stadium.
