A possibly stolen Scion went off-road after a pursuit that spanned multiple freeways ended in the Lancaster area Sunday.
Two people were taken into custody after the vehicle was seen traveling at a high rate of speed past other cars on the road.
The LAPD pursuit began at the intersection of Sepulveda Boulevard and Devonshire Street in the Valley area.
Police confirmed they were initially chasing the two-door silver sedan heading north on the 5 Freeway before the driver got on the 14 Freeway.
The chase continued on the 14 Freeway in the Palmdale area before the driver exited to surface streets, traveling at a high rate of speed.
Authorities took the driver and another person into custody in the Lancaster area after the car went off-road.
