Couple Wanted for Attempted Murder of Man Who Was Twice Ran Over in South Los Angeles Parking Lot

Police are searching for a couple who got into a confrontation with a man in a South Los Angeles liquor store moments before he was run over in the parking lot outside.

A newly released surveillance video shows the victim being hit and dragged underneath a two-door Ford Explorer that then stops to reverse and run over him again before speeding off in the parking lot of Jerry's Liquor Store on the 4200 block of South Vermont on Aug. 1.

Footage from inside the liquor store shows a blond woman in a white blouse and a man wearing a baseball cap and grey T-shirt who allegedly got into a fight with the victim inside the shop.

Afterwards the couple allegedly got inside the Ford Explorer and hit the man who was in the middle of the parking lot.

The couple are wanted for attempted murder, LAPD said.

The video can be seen on the LAPD Southwest Community Police Station Facebook page. Warning: the video is graphic.
