One Killed in Car-to-Car Shooting at Lancaster Stoplight

One person was killed Sunday night in a car-to-car shooting at a stoplight in Lancaster.

The shooting occurred at about 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of 20th Street and West Avenue K. The victim, identified as a man in his late 20s, was in the driver's seat of his vehicle when the gunman pulled alongside and opened fire.

"There were three different volleys of round fired from the suspect's vehicle," said Los Angeles County Sheriff's Lt. Eddie Hernandez.

The victim drove to a Starbuck's parking lot, where he died.
