Believe it or not, those prehistoric-looking electronics used to be vogue, and expensive.

Now, they’re likely gathering dust and a non-profit in Riverside is asking residents to donate their electronic dinosaurs – with a perk.

On Saturday, Dec. 31, from 9 to 2, residents can drop off their used electronics at Smart Riverside’s warehouse and get a tax deduction for the donation.

Money the organization makes from selling the gold and copper in e-waste materials will go toward buying computers to low-income residents and providing free wireless throughout Riverside.
