Armed Man Robs Little Caesar's Pizza in Buena Park

An armed man robbed a Little Caesar's Pizza Monday in Buena Park.

The robbery was reported around 9:50 p.m. at 7930 Dale St., according to Buena Park police Sgt. Bret Carter.

The man, who had his face partially covered by the hood of a black sweatshirt, walked into the restaurant with a handgun and demanded money, Carter said.

The robber showed the handgun, but did not point it at employees, said Sgt. Mike Lovchik of the Buena Park Police Department.

Employees gave him "a small amount of a cash," before he fled the scene, Carter said.

No one was injured in the robbery, Carter added.

Buena Park police described the robber as a white man, about 5 feet 4 to 5 feet 6 inches tall, who was wearing dark clothing.

The suspect matched the description of the suspect wanted for a robbery Thursday at a Buena Park Domino's pizza restaurant but Carter said detectives have not established any link.
