Armed Men Tie Women During Home Invasion Robbery, Take Jewelry and Cash

Two women were tied up by armed, masked men during a home invasion robbery Wednesday in Los Feliz.

The Los Angeles Police Department responded to a call at approximately 10:15 p.m. at the 4400 block of Cromwell Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department Northeast Division.

The two armed men forced their way inside, wearing gloves and ski masks, and stole an undisclosed amount of cash and jewelry from a safe inside the residence.

The robbery lasted one hour. One woman had difficulty breathing after the robbery and was inspected by paramedics, authorities said. The other woman was unharmed.

Police said the home invasion was a random attack.

A detailed description of the men was not immediately available.
