A magnitude 3.1 earthquake rattled the Loma Linda area late Monday night.
The temblor hit 2.5 miles south east of the San Bernardino County city a minute before midnight at a depth of 10 miles, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
On the Richter scale this is classified as a minor quake that while, often felt by people, it very rarely causes damage. Shaking of indoor objects can be noticeable.
There were no immediate reports of injuries or damages.
