Man Arrested for Allegedly Sexually Assaulting 2 Girls in Ontario Mills Mall

Ontario police investigators have arrested a man who allegedly sexually assaulted two girls in a Burlington Coat Factory in Ontario.

Patrol officers spotted the suspect's vehicle and investigators were able to identify and arrest Carlos Castillo, 37, of Yucaipa Wednesday night in a parking lot in the 1300 block of North Mountain Avenue in Ontario, according to Ontario police.

The incidents occurred on Oct. 9 and Oct. 29 when the Castillo allegedly lured the victims, ages 5 to 10, away from their parents and inappropriately touched them at a Burlington Coat Factory in the Ontario Mills Mall, according to police.

Police asked for the public's help to identify the suspect with surveillance images Tuesday, and also released an image of what authorities believed was his car.

"Investigators believe Castillo may have committed similar assaults on other children, and are asking anyone who feels like they may have been victimized to file a report," Ontario police said in a statement.

Anyone with information about the incidents was asked to call Det. Scott Anderson at 909-395-2857 or 909-986-6711.
