A man who was walking on lanes of an Anaheim freeway early Tuesday was struck and killed by a car, authorities said.
The crash was reported around 12:15 a.m. on the eastbound Riverside (91) Freeway at East Street, the California Highway Patrol said.
The man died at the scene, according to the CHP. His name was withheld, pending family notification.
After the crash, a woman was seen at the scene wearing what appeared to be a wedding dress. It was not immediately clear how she may have been involved in the crash.
All eastbound lanes were closed for the investigation except for the carpool lane. The lanes were reopened about 2:30 a.m., the CHP reported.
Anyone with information about the incident was asked to call California Highway Patrol.
