A man barricaded in a Panorama City home Thursday after police responded to reports of a woman screaming near the area, Los Angeles police officer Jack Richter said.
Officers responded to the 13800 block of Roscoe Boulevard just before 3 p.m. when the incident was reported. The man fled into a home when the officers arrived.
Traffic was being diverted in the area, Richter said.
It was unclear if the man was armed.
The barricade situation was over a little more than three hours after it started. It was unclear what brought the incident to an end.
