Deputies were investigating the shooting death of a man in an unincorporated area of Gardena early Friday morning.
The shooting was reported around 12 p.m. in the 14400 block of Loness Avenue near Compton, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. It was unclear if the victim was shot inside or outside of the home.
The victim was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police said the shooting may be gang related.
No arrests were reported early Friday.
