Man Killed in Norwalk Shooting

The victim's name and age were not immediately available

Los Angeles County Sheriff's homicide detectives were investigating the shooting death of a man in Norwalk Saturday afternoon, authorities said.

The man was shot and killed just after 1 p.m. at a residence in the 11400 block of Lindale Street, according to Deputy Juanita Navarro-Suarez.

Deputies responded to a call of an assault with a deadly weapon and found the man inside with gunshot wounds to his upper body. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man lived in the home with his sister and her boyfriend. The boyfriend was detained, according to the LASD.

The victim's name and age were not immediately available.
