Man Pleads Not Guilty to Stalking Sandra Bullock

A man charged with stalking Sandra Bullock and breaking into her home has pleaded not guilty.

Joshua James Corbett made a brief appearance in a Los Angeles courtroom on Tuesday, two days after he was arrested after police say he broke into the Oscar-winning actress' home.

Bullock was at home around 6:30 a.m. Sunday when police say Corbett jumped the fence surrounding her house and broke into the building.

The 39-year-old was also charged with felony possession of a machine gun, although prosecutors say he did not have the gun while on Bullock's property.

Superior Court Judge Renee Korn set Corbett's bail at $185,000 and ordered him to stay 200 yards away from the actress.

His attorney, Stephen Sitkoff, declined comment after the hearing.

If convicted, he faces more than seven years in prison.
