The body of a man who was shot dead was found on top of a garage early Friday morning in Westlake.
Authorities responded to an emergency call at around 1 a.m. and discovered the body of a 20-year-old man with gunshot wounds in the 400 block of South Burlington Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department Rampart Division.
The body was tangled in some wires and was cut free by Los Angeles City firefighters.
No further details were immediately available.
