Man Sought in Deadly Robbery Arrested

He is accused of fatally shooting a computer store owner

A man wanted in connection with a botched robbery that left a computer store owner dead in Lancaster on Friday has been arrested.

Timothy Johnson, 23, was booked on Saturday night into the Los Angeles County Jail after a traffic stop in South Los Angeles. Deputies said Johnson is a gang member on parole.

He’s accused of storming into e-Chaps Computer and More at 2007 W. Avenue K at 4 p.m. and fatally shooting 58-year-old Reed Lewis Keith.

The assailant was wearing a ski mask and hood and carrying a backpack and rolling suitcase, deputies said. The robber made off with some electronics, which were later recovered, deputies said.
