Man Stabbed After Trying to Stop Taggers in Anaheim

A group of taggers stabbed a man who attempted to intervene when he found them defacing a business in Anaheim on Sunday, police said.

The victim was beaten and stabbed around 9:30 p.m. on Stinson Avenue near Lincoln Avenue after he confronted the taggers, the Anaheim Police Department said.

The victim's wife said he was attacked by four men and stabbed once in the lower back.

The victim was transported to UCI Medical Center where he was in stable condition.

No arrests had been made in connection with the assault and police did not have a detailed description of the attackers.
