A man and a woman were found dead Thursday inside a home near Whittier, prompting an investigation by sheriff's homicide detectives.
Investigators were dispatched just after 10 a.m. to the 13500 block of Lanning Drive in the unincorporated South Whittier area, according to Deputy Ryan Rouzan of the Sheriff's Information Bureau.
The man and woman were pronounced dead at the scene, Rouzan said.
