A body was found inside the burned wreckage of a car near March Air Reserve Base in Riverside County.
Sheriff's department investigators said the body was found late Sunday after firefighters put out the car fire. The scorched BMW was parked next to the March Field Air Museum.
Details about the deceased individual were not immediately available. Coroner's officials arrived at the scene Monday morning.
The base near Moreno Valley is about 60 miles southeast of Los Angeles.
