Masked Juveniles Break Into Home, Rob Couple at Knifepoint: Police

The victims are in their 70s, police said

Police are looking for two juveniles who broke into a Lancaster home and robbed a couple in their 70s at knifepoint.

The alleged burglary occurred Saturday around 11:30 p.m. when the two juveniles, armed with large kitchen knives and wearing masks and black clothes, forced their way into a home on the 1700 block of Norberry Avenue and demanded money and property, said Lt. Daniel Nagelmann of the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department Lancaster Station.

The suspects, described as black males, took the victims’ cellphones and a small amount of jewelry and cash, Nagelmann said. A female victim sustained a “very minor” injury when she was hit in the face while trying to hold back a door, he said.

Police were still looking for the suspects as of 9:40 a.m. Sunday.
