Mega Millions Lottery Jackpot Jumps to $415 Million

There were no tickets sold with all six numbers in Tuesday's drawing of the multi-state Mega Millions lottery and the estimated jackpot for Friday's drawing will grow to $415 million.

One ticket each with five numbers, but missing the Mega number, was sold in New Jersey and Texas. They are each worth $1 million, according to the Multi-State Lottery Association which conducts the game.

The numbers drawn were 15, 17, 20, 35, 55 and the Mega number was 7. The estimated jackpot was $390 million.

The drawing was the 31st since the last time a ticket with all six numbers was sold.

The odds of matching all five numbers and the Mega number is 1 in 258,890,850, according to the Mega Millions website. The overall chance of winning a prize is 1 in 14.71.

The Mega Millions game is played in 44 states, the District of Columbia and U.S. Virgin Islands.
