Bus Crashes in Downtown Los Angeles

Passengers were treated for minor injuries Friday morning after a Metro bus crashed in downtown Los Angeles.

The bus driver apparently swerved to avoid another driver at the intersection of Second Street and Broadway. The bus came to a stop on the sidewalk.

Initial reports from police indicated the driver of the car might have been texting while driving. The driver of the Honda was hospitalized.

The driver of the car went through a red light, according to authorities.
